United Arab Emirates - Azerbaijan Business Forum was held on December 21, 2009 in Abu Dhabi within the second meeting of the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on economic, trade and technical cooperation.

On December 18, the memorandums of mutual understanding were signed between the Azerbaijan Investment Company (АIC) and German companies RAO Agromilk and RAO Global Group, engaging in setting up enterprises Agstafasud Kompleksi and Agstafa Aqroservis.

The 1st International Azerbaijani Investment Summit, organized by the Adam Smith Institute, opened in London on 8^th of December.

Azerbaijan-Belgium Business Forum organized by AZPROMO was held on 23rd of November within the framework of the visit of Flanders Invetsment and Trade Agency representatives to Azerbaijan.

Today, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (Agreement headings) on construction and operation of a shipbuilding factory in Azerbaijan was held at the Ministry of Economic Development.
