- Competitive, export oriented and import replacing nature of the products (goods and services) to be produced
- Application, or a commitment to apply the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Independent audit of financial reporting
- Application of the International Corporate Governance principles and high level protection of rights of investors and other interested parties
- Investments to any particular project not exceeding 20% of the AIC capital
- Investments to any particular economic sector not exceeding 35% of the AIC capital
