On May 22, 2024, Minister of Economy Mikayıl Cabbarov met with representatives of Georgia's "Georgian Beer Company LLC" Tsezar Choceli, Shalva Choceli, and Gocha Darchiashvili. Productive discussions were held on the development prospects of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, a Shareholders’ Agreement was signed between "Azerbaijan Investment Company" OJSC and the founder of Georgia's "Georgian Beer Company LLC" This agreement aims to build a new plant in the Gabala region for the production of licensed premium beer brands, local brand beer, and soft drinks based on advanced international technologies.
The implementation of the project, which utilizes advanced technologies, will facilitate the production of competitive products and expand export opportunities. The plant, with an annual production capacity of 140 million liters, is expected to create about 300 new jobs.
