China-Azerbaijan Industry and Investment Cooperation Promotion Conference dedicated to the development of industrial and investment cooperation between China and Azerbaijan was held in Beijing on April 17–18, 2025. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), the Trade Representation of Azerbaijan in the People's Republic of China, and the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission of China.

The main objectives of the conference were to promote Azerbaijan's favorable investment environment, establish direct connections with foreign investors, strengthen the strategic economic partnership between the two countries, and lay a solid foundation for long-term cooperation. The event brought together approximately 250 participants, including government officials, business representatives, and potential investors, and served as a key platform for enhancing economic ties between Azerbaijan and China.

Yasin Jalilov, Deputy Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC, participated in a number of meetings during the conference. He held discussions with several companies, including negotiations with “Dare Wheel Manufacturing Co. Ltd” regarding the project planned for implementation in Azerbaijan’s automotive industry. These talks are of significant importance for boosting local production and fostering the development of new industries in the country.

During the conference, Azerbaijan presented 13 investment projects to the Chinese side. Participants were also provided with detailed information about the country’s investment opportunities, as well as the incentives and privileges offered by local institutions. Additionally, representatives of Chinese companies currently operating in Azerbaijan and interested in investing here delivered presentations on their projects and initiatives, further contributing to the collaborative spirit of the event.
